On Saturday 18th of July 2015 Bigwig Jerky Co. had their first ever market stall at the inaugural Brisbane BBQ Festival at Wandering Cooks, South Brisbane.

It was a huge turnout with thousands of punters keen to view and taste the creations of Queensland’s top BBQ teams. There was plenty of BBQ action for the punters with cooking demonstrations (both smokers and gas barbeques), presentations on what bbq rubs are best for what meats, and hot sauce samples.

Bigwig Jerky Co. worked tirelessly in the weeks leading up to the event creating enough product in all 6 flavours, however, the overwhelming support from BBQ Festival patrons resulting in us selling out of everything within 4 hours.

This was a great surprise, and we are now looking onwards and upwards to creating a lot more product for our fans, and looking for more opportunities at future markets and festivals to get the Bigwig Jerky Co. brand of beef jerky out to the public.

We will be out of stock for the next week while we replenish our stocks, so bare with us, we will be back in action shortly selling quality beef jerky across Australia.
